Carlton Ware
Carlton Ware was stroke-on-trent based pottery manufacturer. It made highly decorated leaves and fruits. The most famous it made is the ceramic toucan as promotional items for guinness. It is famous for its artistic high point with superb hand-painted domestic pottery between 1920 and 1930.
James Frederick Wiltshaw founded Carlton Ware in 1890. But the trademark Carlton Ware was introduced in 1894 and then the company factory was renamed the Carlton Works.
