Capodimonte
Capodimonte porcelain company was established in Naples in 1743. It is famous for its moulded figurines and decorative flowers on cups and vases.
In 1743, Spanish king Charles and Queen Maria Amalia started the Royal Factory of Capodimonte. At that time, the chemist Livio Ottavio Schepers introduced soft paste porcelain, and then Giuseppe Gricci and Casella contributed to the creation of the art.
Some capodimonte porcelains are for sale on eBay.
